Dutch Rampart Clock Tower
On the center of the rampart is the clock tower with you can see in the picture. It is about 12 meters in height. It has been built in 1765 by Dutch.

Old Market
The old market which stands by the side of the main road at Nupe was built around 1775 by the Dutch. This is the first spectacular building one can see while coming from Colombo at the right side of the main road. It is still being maintained with its pristine structure. Though it had been a market in the past, today it is being used as a cultural center where traditional dances and other art activities take place.
Matara Bus Stand
Bus Stand is located in the middle of the town and about 500m from railway station. For traveling within the city popular mode of tourist transport are three wheelers also can see this picture.
Parey Island Temple
This is a Buddhist temple in the island a rounding sea. The bridge supports to move to the temple.
Matara Beach Road
This is the New Tangalle Road starting from Matara.
Browns Hill
Beach view from Browns Hill. Another location from new tangalle road.
Nilwala River
Nilwala River
The third longest river in sir lanka. It joins the Indian Ocean at Thotamuna. Main crops along this river are tea, rubber and paddy.This two rare location’s takes from my near residence area at Weragampita.
Veherahena Temple
The large Buddha Statue.
Veherahena Temple
Veherahena temple is the most famous religious temple in Matara. A 25m high colorful Buddha Statue built at Veherahena Temple. The temple is about 2 km from the town.
